Court inquires about Duminda Silva’s residence

The CID has been ordered to inform courts about the exact whereabouts of MP Duminda Silva, a suspect in the Mulleriyawa political murders.
Additional magistrate of Colombo ordered police to report on April 04 whether it could arrest the suspect, or if there are difficulties in the way of arresting him.
MP Silva is a main suspect in the gunning down of presidential advisor Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra and three others on October 08 at Mulleriyawa.
Tirantha Waraliyadde told the court that the CID was yet to inform the court about the arrest of the suspect.
He requested the court to order the CID to arrest the parliamentarian through Interpol, and sought the issuance of a warrant for his arrest.
The additional magistrate said an arrest warrant is issued only after the police reports about the possibility of arresting a suspect.
