Veyil actress Priyanka tied the nuptial knot yesterday on May 23rd,2012 with assistant director Lawrence Ram. It was director Vasanthabalan who gave her the break in Veyil after a young Priyanka was spotted in television serials soon after completing her Class XII schooling.
Settling down in marriage, the function took place at the Atukal Temple in Trivandrum yesterday. Relatives, family members and her close fans attended the traditional marriage ceremony. Debuting through Veyil, Priyanka followed things up with Tholaipesi and Thiruththam. However her glamorous performances were not received well, as she returned to the Malayalam industry with new offers. She also bagged Kerala State Government award for Best actress playing her role in Vilapangalkkappuram. It was during one of her filmy projects that she met the love of her life, in assistant director Ram. Tying the wedding knot the actress has a couple of Tamil releases coming up soon in Sengathu Boomiyile and Vaanam Paatha Seemaiyile.
